The Shwedagon Pagoda, also officially referred to as Shwedagon Zedi Daw and known as the Great Dagon Pagoda or the Golden Pagoda, is a gilded stupa in Yangon, Myanmar. Perched on Singuttara Hill, this 326-foot-tall pagoda lies to the west of Kandawgyi Lake and commands the Yangon skyline.
